La Fond Galleries, located on Pittsburgh’s Historic South Side, exhibits contemporary art in an award winning building designed by architect Ross Bianco. There are two galleries located on street level, with one of those housed in a two story atrium. A third gallery shares the second level with owners’ Adelaide and Richard La Fond’s living space with a spectacular view into the atrium.
Gallery Director Michael Hertrich has put together a stable of artists that reach from Pittsburgh, to San Francisco, to Vitoria Spain. Staff members Jennifer Marchitelli and William Newman are also on hand to assist clients with art purchases and custom framing. La Fond’s framing service is recognized throughout the country for its quality, selection and staff expertise.
